Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

Ora-3D Inc. is a medical device startup bridging the gap between clinical dental experience & consumers. We are on a mission to empower human health with affordable, accessible and intuitive dental care. Starting with autonomous hygiene for seniors, saving nurses with time and curating independence for those with special needs. We have invented a 3-dimensional toothbrush that simulates dentist recommended brushing technique and offers a deeper reach in between teeth and along the gumline with a simple bite and glide action.

As an iOS Developer Intern, you will be responsible for designing and implementing new features and functionalities. Your main responsibility will be to contribute to the Medical Software product for Android natively using Kotlin. Throughout the development process, you will work closely with other iOS developers and members of the QA team to ensure that your work is both functionally sound and technically sound.

We expect you to have a 8-10hr weekly commitment.

Ora-3D Health Inc. is creating assistive dental care devices for adults with special needs. We’ve developed our first autonomous brushing solution that functions with a simple bite and glide motion. Its unique structure encapsulates the teeth accessing six times more surface area and simulates dentist recommended brushing technique – allowing a deeper and more effective clean with minimal manual dexterity. Our product is designed to support adults with special needs ranging from arthritis, multiple sclerosis and those with limited mobility. Especially in nursing homes, where frontline workers are strained by labor from resistance to oral care, Ora-3D's assistive brushing induces autonomy, saves time and improves quality of life for both the frontline staff and the residents.
