Positions Available: 2

(PHASE 1) - 1 position

The Centre for Career and Vocation is seeking student workers to help develop online programming to support career preparation for CMU students. This project will primarily include, but is not limited to:

  • Acting as lead developer of online course available to all CMU students through LMS Moodle for all aspects of job search, with particular emphasis on the creation of units on resumes, and cover letters
  • Collaboratively defining learning outcomes for various course modules
  • Developing learning artifacts including quizzes, video lectures, discussion board posts, etc. to achieve learning outcomes
  • Reviewing and consolidating resources into easily accessible web platforms

Key skills and experiences: ability to apply pedagogical principles in an online environment, project management and organizational skills, and excellent written communication skills

(PHASE 2) - 1 position

The Centre for Career and Vocation is seeking student workers to help develop online programming to support career preparation for CMU students. This project will primarily include, but is not limited to:

  • Continue development of online course available to all CMU students through LMS Moodle for all aspects of job search, with particular emphasis on the creation of units on interview preparation and professional school applications
  • Collaboratively defining learning outcomes for various course modules
  • Developing learning artifacts including quizzes, video lectures, discussion board posts, etc. to achieve learning outcomes
  • Reviewing and consolidating resources into easily accessible web platforms

Key skills and experiences: ability to apply pedagogical principles in an online environment, project management and organizational skills, and excellent written communication skills
