- What is the main goal for this project?

Help us with creating content that is aligned with our values and brand.
Portside Law is a boutique family law firm. We opened our doors in December 2021 with the drive to provide quality legal advice with accessible prices that fit our clients needs. Most of our current work is with marginalized communities and we are hoping to gain more private clients. This is where our need for social media marketing comes in. Our team currently consists of three lawyers and an operations manager, who has worked in not for profit management for a decade. We are finding with a startup and lack of creativity it is hard to find the time to make valuable content, a student to support us with this would be a huge asset to our team.
Ultimately, the student will be working on content creation for our organization, including video, social media, a content guide, a content calendar and other collateral that we can use as go-to marketing tools.

- What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will:
- Write content pieces on assigned topics
- Assist with a social media video launch to promote our organization (facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter)
- Evaluate recent successful user-generated campaigns, preferably in our sector
- Create a social media content guide for the team
- Create a social media content calendar for the next 3 months

Our goal with this project is to inform the community about basic family legal knowledge, elevate our brand and gain additional private clients.
