OneProsper International recently launched the English Learning Buddy program, which is a 10 week volunteer program for high school students in Canada.

The mission of the program is girls educating girls.

Volunteers are paired with students in India from low income families. Volunteers meet once per week to help their students practice their spoken English skills. After the completion of the 10 week program, volunteers receive a certificate and volunteer service hours.

The student will perform the following responsibilties:

• Create a list of high schools and contacts in Ontario
• Build partnerships with high schools
• Provide volunteers with marketing materials and learning resources
• Assist in providing a virtual tutorial for volunteers
• Answer questions from volunteers
• Admin work
