Your goal is to create conversations in French for 100 scenarios. We will provide you with 20 topics and you will plan 100 most commonly-used scenarios for those topics. I.e. topic = study permits; scenario = study permit will expire soon. For each scenario, create an intermediate-level conversation between 2 people, listing different ways to answer and common mistakes. Create a beginner-level version of that conversation. Each scenario should take you 45 minutes

Deliverables

Below is an example in English. Your conversation should be in French. (Optional: You should aim to customize your conversations to French Quebec phrases).

Scenario: You are a student and your study permit is about to expire. You submitted an application to renew your study permit but your application is still not approved. You are calling the government to ask about 1) your application status 2) when you will receive the result and 3) if you can continue studying in case your current study permit is expired before you receive the new one.

Intermediate-level conversation

Gov: Hi, my name is Eric. How can/may I help you?

You: Hi, I submitted an application to renew my study permit. It has not been approved and my study permit is about to expire. Can you please check my application status? OR I applied to have my study permit renewed OR I applied for a new study permit but have not heard about it. Can you please check? (mistake: I renewed my study permit)

Gov: Can I have your study permit number please? OR what is your study permit number please?

You: It is G098340H

Gov: Thank you. We need to verify certain information to proceed OR I will ask you a few questions for verifying purposes. What is your name and date of birth?

You: Ben Rash, Jan 31 2005.

Gov: Thank you. Your study permit application is in progress.

You: May I know when I can receive the result? OR How many more days should it take to process my application? (mistake: how long will it take? OR Do you know when it will be processed (because being processed may not mean finished processing)?)

Gov: The current average processing time is 120 days, so you should receive the final decision in 2 weeks.

You: My current permit expires in 5 days. Can I continue studying until my new study permit arrives?

Gov: While waiting for the result, you are implied to have your new study permit approved, so yes, you can continue studying until you receive the final decision of your application.

You: Perfect. Thank you and have a great day.

Gov: Is there anything else I can help you with?

You: No, thank you.

Gov: my pleasure. Enjoy your day.
