The main objective of this project is to help us raise awareness of our brand.


About the Company

Mi BOWL Meal is a ready-to-eat meal delivery company located in Toronto that specializes in asian-fusion and asian-inspired dishes. Our meals are healthy and nutritionally balanced. We offer delivery on Mondays and Thursdays every week. Our company vision is to help people be their best selves and we do this by freeing up their time to focus on their life's priorities.


We have a stable customer base but we'd like to expand our reach. We believe that brand awareness is a big challenge, so we would' like to work with students to design a digital marketing campaign to raise awareness of Mi BOWL and what we're about.

Deliverables

This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

  • Familiarizing themselves with our company’s products, social media campaign goals and target market.
  • Auditing our website, including navigation structure, page layout, content, and search engine optimization
  • Research on our competitors and their marketing strategies, including use of social channels like Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, and LinkedIn
  • Identifying social media channels and strategies suitable for our company.
  • Planning types of campaign content to create for each channel.
  • Identifying metrics to monitor throughout the campaign.
  • Creating a social media content calendar that outlines important steps in the campaign.


Based on the above activities, we would like the student to recommend and design a digital ad campaign that will be implemented. This would include providing the campaign plans, including:

  • ad channel selection
  • budget allocation
  • keywords/target audience settings
  • the bidding strategy; and
  • detailed ad design suggestions


Note: we will provide a budget of $500-$1000 for the digital ad campaign implementation


Final deliverables should include

  • Competitor Analysis
  • Web Audit & Recommendations
  • Digital Ad Campaign and Lessons Learned Report
  • A 15-minute presentation
Mentorship

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

  • Our current products and social media marketing
  • Our customer and industry insights
  • Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.
