INTERNSHIP in the Music Industry

Are you interested in promoting and booking gigs, writing and communication, marketing, social media, booking artists, promoting and managing performances and learning how to promote music, all while keeping all of this organized through the discipline of project management!? If so, please apply! A great deal of the work can be done remotely or on location at a gig/show.

General Purpose: Preparation of materials and completion of specific projects, while ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. The intern will learn best practices in marketing, communications and artist management from experienced staff.

Deliverables
  • Outreach to Book Shows in Canada and US
  • Show Promotion
  • Outreach for Music Recording Collaborations
  • SOCAN and other rights organizations submissions for new music
  • Planning live and online events
  • Event management
  • Writing, editing, and sending out press releases
  • Marketing support
  • Social media content creation, management and engagement
  • Inform stations, podcasts and bloggers about our artists
  • Obtaining grant funding for artists
  • Updating and creating content
  • Assisting with email marketing campaigns
  • Launching new music
  • At the end of your project, you will have a final submission, which may include examples of your work, presentation PDFs, documentation of findings, etc.


Mentorship

We Provide them an extensive training library. We have regular meetings with them and we coach them with our experienced staff.
