The project aims to test and refine our social app for post-secondary students aged 18-24. The intern will be pivotal in enhancing the UI/UX design and improving the app's user experience through rapid prototyping, iterative design, and direct user feedback. Focus areas include navigation flow, community interaction, and accessibility and privacy features for a diverse user base.

Project Activities:

1. Participate in usability testing for the MVP, analyze user feedback, and engage in rapid prototyping using tools like Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
2. Implement iterative design enhancements based on user feedback, prioritize changes for user engagement and ease of use, and focus on enhancing accessibility and privacy features.
3. Work closely with the development team to ensure accurate implementation.
4. Conduct a final evaluation and prepare a comprehensive report detailing the design process, outcomes, and recommendations for future UI/UX development

Support for the UI/UX Design Intern:

1. The intern will receive regular guidance, feedback, and support throughout the project, including weekly check-in meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and learning opportunities.
2. The intern will have opportunities to collaborate with other team members and advisors in development, data analytics and marketing.
3. Full access to Figma, Slack and JIRA will be provided.
4. Access to Data: Access to user feedback, analytics data, market research, and user personas.
