What is the main goal for this project?

We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization.

Artterra is an online art gallery and artist community. We promote and mentor emerging visual artists in Canada and connect them with art buyers all over North America.

The intern will help us with content creation and digital marketing for both sides of our business: artists and art buyers.

We are looking for marketers, artists, and creatives interested in professional development in the art industry through building long-term relationships and looking to learn the ins and outs of running an online community.

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will:

  • Write blog articles, email newsletters/sequences, community posts and other content pieces on assigned topics
  • Assist with a social media (Reels and TikTok) video launch to promote our organization
  • Evaluate recent successful user-generated campaigns, preferably in the art sector
  • Identify media outlets that are most beneficial to share our story and assist in PR outreach

Our goal is to help Canadian visual artists along their path from emerging to established, by providing a platform for online sales, as well as assistance with online marketing, resources, mentorship and artist community for navigating the business world of arts.
