SUMMARY

BC Hospice Palliative Care Association is a not-for-profit, membership organization, which has been representing individuals and organizations committed to promoting and delivering hospice/palliative care to British Columbians since 1986

Each year, BCHPCA hosts an educational event that focuses on topics of interest to healthcare professionals, hospice society staff and volunteers, and members of allied organizations who are committed to quality end-of-life care.

Using real company data, students will spot trends and relationships between the COVID 19 impact survey we did last year and this year. Students will submit their recommendations and conclusions to the decision-makers of the company.

WHAT WE WANT STUDENTS TO DO?

We are looking at doing a deep look into all our social media platforms and doing an amalgamation and analyses to determine who are our followers, where they live and perhaps even demographic information. We see this as an opportunity to tailor our communication and advertising for the coming year to garner more donations, awareness and help in identifying our population segment which will help in further advocacy to the government. Currently the platforms we use are: Facebook, Website, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram.

Note you are primarily using social media platform data even though that might be supplemented by other sources you consider relevant.
