What is the main goal for this project?


We would like to collaborate with a single, specialized student to optimize and manage our campaigns and ads.


For Paid Marketing on Facebook Ads:

This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

  • Familiarizing themselves with our target market, products and services.
  • Reviewing marketing content with director
  • Deploying marketing campaigns according to calendar
  • Overseeing our marketing campaigns and keeping them up-to-date.


Bonus steps in the process would also include:

  • optimizing for greater conversion and lower costs


For Owned Social Media:

This will include 2 main projects requiring content creation and scheduling for social platforms, which will also be scheduled to recur on specific annual or differing schedules.


  1. Black History Month posts focused on Musicians and Music highlighting video, photo, quotes of Black Musicians.
  2. Informational and promotional posts for our specific curricular offering (Music Together)
What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

  • Familiarity with our target market, services
  • Deployment of marketing content
  • Updates to our campaign(s)
  • Budget management


Bonus steps would include:

  • conversion and cost optimization
  • analysis of past campaigns and results to improve current/future performance


Final deliverables should include

  • Marketing campaigns on Facebook/Instagram
  • Demonstrated improvement and strategy implementation on current camapaigns
  • Recommendations for improvement and strategy implementation on future camapaigns
  • Approximately 15-20 posts for Black History month
  • Approximately 30-40 posts for Music Together (over 10-14 weeks)


How will you support learners in completing the project?

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

  • Our products and services
  • Our marketing strategies
  • Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.


Following a series of onboarding and goal setting discussions, any-time contact will be available and encouraged through Slack to ensure support, coaching, and discussion is available on-demand.
