Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization.

Odihi is a BIPOC-led charity that is dedicated to advance education by providing leadership training programs and self esteem training sessions to Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) women and girls and to address and prevent problems faced by BIPOC women and girls.

Odihi means “the essence of greatness”, and this mantra drives our organization’s mission to help marginalized people achieve both personal fulfillment and professional success.

Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for our organization, including video, social media, and other collateral that we can use as go-to marketing tools.

If you like the sound of our culture, and are ready to tackle this challenge with us, then we'd love to hear from you.

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will:

  • Write blog articles, email newsletters/sequences and other content pieces on assigned topics
  • Assist with a social media video launch to promote our organization
  • Evaluate recent successful user-generated campaigns, preferably in our sector
  • Identify media outlets that are most beneficial to share our story
  • Utilize our Google Ads Grant Platform
  • Create content around new events, festivals and programs
About the company

Odihi is a BIPOC-led charity that is dedicated to advance education by providing leadership training programs and self esteem training sessions to Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) women and girls and to address and prevent problems faced by BIPOC women and girls.

Odihi means “the essence of greatness”, and this mantra drives our organization’s mission to help marginalized people achieve both personal fulfillment and professional success. We use a combination of career coaching, interactive workshops, and one-on-one mentorships to provide career advice and educational resources that are sensitive to the unique challenges that people of colour–and BIPOC women in particular–face throughout their formal education and entry into the workforce.
