What is the main goal for this project?

Accepting up to 10 Students as Teams or Individuals. Wacky Willys is a B2B company in the Cannabis and Hemp Extraction equipment industry. Our primary focus is creating innovative relevant equipment and gear for extraction companies and product producers. With this in mind, we have designed a new line commercial extraction equipment that compliments our existing general product line that our existing customers know and love.

We need help planning New Product Launch/s. Willy is constantly innovating equipment and new products enter our company on a regular basis. It would be extremely helpful to have a 'Roadmap to guide' us through all the steps required to successfully launch our new commercial products and brands. This will represent a very crucial next phase in our business. A New Product Launch Plan exercise will help us determine what key messaging will resonate with our target commercial equipment buyers and confirm how we will need to position our new products to successfully launch them into the industry.

Below are some Key Components we would like to have included in a Product Launch Plan Roadmap:

  1. Learn more about our customer to confirm/deny what we think we already know.
  2. Write a positioning statement.
  3. Create a pitch with our positioning
  4. Plan our go-to-market strategy.
  5. Set goals for the launch.
  6. Create promotional content.

We have been in business for 30+ years and when we created our original general product line of gear, we had a 'end use individual' consumer in mind and marketed accordingly. We have seen our customers mature in the Cannabis market since legalization. As the industry has now been legalized in Canada and in many States our market is changing and we need Marketing Support to ensure the successful launch our new brand and line of commercial equipment.
