Details

I have a position available for 1 student for 80 hours to conduct data cleaning and organizing and carry out statistical data analyses for a project that examines perceptions of political leaders.

Deliverables

The project may include, but is not limited to:

  • The management, organization, cleaning of collected data
  • Learn statistical analyses, how to conduct them on data from an experiment
  • Perform data analysis (e.g., regression, factor analysis, ANOVA) on a large dataset using SPSS.
  • Assisting in the interpretation and summarization of data analysis outputs

This project will require 80-hours of work over an 8-week period. Some of this work can be done remotely.

Mentorship

The project coordinator, Dr. Miranda Giacomin, will train, direct, and assist a research assistant on study design, data collection, analysis, and interpretation related to the research topic.

This includes providing all the necessary training, access to Qualtrics, relevant literature, and access to SPSS, which are all necessary to complete the project. I will also be directly involved in supervision of the student. I will meet with the student once per week to monitor progress and provide assistance and feedback as needed.
