As a private practice offering psychotherapy, counselling, and coaching, as well as anger management, sex therapy and hypnotherapy, with mainly male clients both in person and online, our primary goal is offering services that are closely aligned to our market segment’s wants and needs so that we can build relationships, help our clients, and grow our business.

The main goal of this project is to create a plan for the expansion of the practice into a multi-person practice with several thriving 'product lines' including Brainspotting and Virtual Reality Therapy. We are excited to work with students in their production of a current state analysis, strategic plan, and operations plan, that will help us move forward with achieving our business goals.

Students can work on creating: competitor analysis, revenue model and financial forecast, marketing plan, and more.

By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of activities (this is basically a retelling of the steps above):

• Completed a current state analysis of the practice, it's aims, services, target demographics, SWOT, et cetera
• Created a report on financial aspects of the envisioned expansion including revenue projections, additional expenses, funding options, modelling
• Created a report on competitor analysis in the Greater Toronto Area with recommendations for service expansion/delivery and pricing.
• Elaborated an operations plan to expand the practice and operate it in its new state, including required new staffing or administrative services
• Presented all findings to the practice owner.

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

• The customer segments our brand primarily caters to.
• Information about our products/services.
• Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.
• We can also provide or direct the students to 3rd party resources to inform them in their thinking or assist them in their work.
