We are seeking a passionate, fun, self-starter who is excited by supporting our marketing efforts, but more importantly, leading the content creation that will drive interest from entities in the global development and social impact industries to Rising Solutions’ services.  

Deliverables

As a critical member of our small team, you can expect to complete some of the following responsibilities:


Content Creation:

  • Create engaging content for Rising Solutions' social media platforms including posts, images, videos, and graphics that promote the company and our thought leadership in the social impact space. This includes promotion for events, blogs, professional innovation courses, and more!
  • Write and edit captions, and other copy for social media posts.
  • Assist in updating our content calendar and schedule for posting.
  • Collaborate with other team members on content creation, marketing efforts, and strategy.
  • Encourage follower-generated content and user participation – potentially through contests or campaigns.


Campaign Support:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of social media marketing campaigns.
  • Help with the creation of organic social media campaigns and tactics.
  • Attend weekly team meetings.


Social Media Management:

  • Help maintain a consistent brand voice and style across all social media channels.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions on social media platforms.
  • Use social media management tools such as Buffer to schedule and publish posts.
  • Post content to social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Threads.
  • Ensure that all content is error-free and adheres to the organization's mission, style, and brand.


Research, Analysis, and Reporting

  • Conduct research on our audience, industry trends, competitors, and best practices in social media marketing.
  • Identify opportunities for audience growth and engagement.
  • Analyze social media data and assist in generating insights to improve social media strategies.
  • Help analyze the performance of campaigns and make recommendations for optimization.
  • Keep up with social media trends, algorithms, and platform updates.
  • Suggest and implement innovative ideas to improve the organization's social media presence.
  • Compile and prepare reports on social media performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and insights.
Mentorship

Learners will work one-on-one with the Marketing and Events Coordinator to develop a plan for the internship that meets the needs of the learner's particular interests along with the needs of Rising Solutions.
