Our organization is committed to serving our target population. We are looking for someone to assist with editing our current mentorship program.

Students will have access to key contacts in our organization for feedback on the program planning.

This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

• Researching and applying information for the target population.
• Developing a mentorship program suitable for a population with varying abilities.
• Assisting in planning activities that are inclusive of varying cognitive and physical abilities.
• Assisting in implementing the program over a period of time.

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

• Understanding of creating programs and our target population
• Editing and development for this mentorship program
• Identification of activities that are inclusive of members of the target population

Final deliverables should include

• A 10-minute presentation.

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

• Our values, mission and vision statements
• Our target population and current programs
• Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.
