The Database assistant will help keep our constituent database clean and functional. Reporting to Donor Database Manager, the Database Assistant provides support with database updates to assist with tracking various fundraising related activities in the database. This role is a key in supporting other database activities to analyze the data of active and past campaigns to continually update and improve results. This role also supports the data team with importing new records and cross-referencing database records against paper/spreadsheet records to reconcile donor/event participant data at the end of an event.
- Reconcile all incoming financial documents from the events.
- Ensure all incoming donations are processed and acknowledged in a timely manner within agreed upon organizational standards
- Enter donor data accurately and completely; alert database team or contact donor for clarification in the event that information is missing or inaccurate
- Generate charitable tax receipts and thank you letters appropriate to the donation
- Provide customer service and technical support to the users
- Liaise with Database Administrator and Accountant to ensure accuracy of receipting and all issues of concern are resolved
- Comply with data integrity and security policies
Full supervision by the Database Manager, full integration into the operations of Autism Speaks Canada. Participation in all staff and team meetings.Formal and informal training on the tools needed to do the job.
