We have 6 months to design, create, build and open the best bar and golf lounge our city has ever seen. As two engineers, we're fine with the construction, planning, and execution, but we are certainly lacking in the design and eye for style that an interior designer brings to the project.

Urban golf is the next evolution in a game that has been stagnant for many years. Especially in Canada where the season is limited to 5 months of the year - people are looking to play golf more and more frequently and throughout the winter. A huge element to the success of indoor golf is being able to design a space that is true to the game itself but with a urban feel. Bringing in elements of the golf course without becoming tacky poses a difficult challenge for us. Along with the bar and lounge element of the space - there is an open canvas here to work on.

Our goals for this project are to get detailed renderings of the proposed space so that we can quickly and efficiently execute on the construction and design. Furthermore, building out pricing and order lists so that we have all of the required fixturings, furniture, counter tops, flooring, paint, lighting, etc. on time and according to the construction plan. You'll be asked for input on the design elements and to provide reasoning for your choices. You will be directly responsible for bringing our vision of urban golf into reality.

You'll be working directly with the founders of the company and get an in depth understanding of all construction, design, and implementation decisions along the way. It will be a fast paced learning environment where you will be exposed to real business decisions and gain immersive experience in the design of a brand new bar and golf lounge in the heart of downtown.

Full virtual support and mentorship available throughout the week. Weekly kick-off meetings in order to set priorities and goals for the coming week will be administered on Monday morning. Weekly wrap-up meetings to update accomplishments and milestones will be scheduled for Friday afternoons.

Throughout the week, meetings can be arranged to overcome challenges together, address questions or concerns, and provide feedback and guidance throughout the project.
