Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

Overall the energy sector (in particular the business of Oil & Gas production) is challenged with attracting students and younger generations of people to have a career in the energy sector. A pending imbalance of talent supply and demand is approaching and a strategy needs to be developed to support attracting talent to our company. The outlook of the energy sector workforce is that there will be shortages of skilled workers due to a few issues including the aging of the workforce coupled with less interest due to the negative narrative of the industry's future.

We would like to collaborate with students to create a talent attraction strategy for Pieridae Energy to support increasing interest and job applicants for our company.

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

  • A wholistic talent attraction and recruitment strategy to generate interest and talent from diverse backgrounds to Pieridae Energy.
  • The key drivers to attracting diverse candidates to working in a natural gas production company/energy sector

Final deliverables should include

  • A final report.
  • A presentation.
