Growth will bring additional employees as well as a constant change in responsibilities for the current workforce. We are looking for ideas and planning that will allow us to grow - sometimes rapidly - without causing undue stress on the current workforce or affect our relationships with current and future clients.
This growth is expected to move us from "owner operated" where the owner is involved in everything to an "owner managed" company. However we do not want to lose that owner relationship internally or externally.
Things to consider in the plan (certainly not an exhaustive list):
- I believe in a work/life balance
- We do all our work in house
- we compete internationally
- fixed costs of additional employees (computers, space, etc)
- profit per employee
- cross training and back ups
