We are looking for an experienced full-stack developer with an advanced understanding of Python, Django, HTML, Javascript ES6, RESTful API, QA testing, DevOps.

What You'll Do

-Design, build and maintain responsive and delightful code;

-Write reusable, testable, and efficient code;

-Participate in product planning meetings and help make decisions that will guide the product;

-Actively engage in code reviews with other developers;

-Follow a customer-first approach to building software;

-Work closely with other development and operations team members to understand complex product requirements and translate them into production-grade systems;

-Participate in the complete life-cycle of product features: inception, design, development, deployment, optimization;

-Be curious and driven to embrace, learn, and apply new technologies and tools;

-Proven ability to investigate software related issues and general problem solver.

Requirements

-Extensive experience with Python, Django, JavaScript ES6, REST API, HTML, Linux;

-Experience with versioning control methodology and tools (Git);

-Experience working in a rapidly growing environment;

-Strong time management, task prioritization, and problem-solving skills;

-Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements;

-Ability to implement visual elements of applications in accordance with style guidelines;

-Understand the challenges of a startup environment, love to work in a fast-paced environment and able to work under pressure;

-3+ years of relevant work experience;

-Being able to write exceptional quality code;

-Important: be Canadian or have permanent residency or have a valid work permit in Canada.
