Details

Pilot Things is looking to establish a new online presence for selling IoT hardware, such as sensors, through a Shopify-based e-commerce platform. The goal is to create a user-friendly and visually appealing website that effectively showcases their products and incorporates a novel selling approach to differentiate from competitors. This project will allow learners to apply their knowledge of e-commerce platforms, web design, and digital marketing strategies. The team will focus on setting up the Shopify store, customizing the theme to align with Pilot Things' brand identity, and integrating innovative sales techniques, such as subscription models or bundled offers, to enhance customer engagement and drive sales. The project will also involve testing the website for functionality and user experience to ensure a seamless shopping journey.

Deliverables

The deliverables for this project include a fully functional Shopify website tailored for IoT hardware sales. The team will provide a customized theme that reflects Pilot Things' branding, along with integrated novel selling strategies like product grouping. Product grouping feature has already been developed. The website would also include products with their descriptions.

Additionally, a report on Canadian and US competing website would compare to the new website.

The final deliverable will be a presentation showcasing the website's features and the rationale behind the chosen selling approach.
