Details

The goal of this project is to develop a reliability and functionality testing system for Acrylic Robotics' internal robotic systems, which are used for robotic painting. This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

- Analyzing the existing robotic systems and their components.

- Developing a testing system that can evaluate the reliability and functionality of the robotic systems.

- Optimizing the testing system for accuracy and performance.

- Researching other variables that can improve the reliability and functionality of the robotic systems.

- Accounting for additional variables in the testing system.

- Testing the developed system and making improvements based on additional data.

Deliverables

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

- Understanding of the existing robotic systems and their components.

- Understanding of variables that affect the reliability and functionality of the robotic systems.

- Identification of areas for future improvement of the testing system.

Bonus steps would include:

- Testing the developed system with users and accounting for additional parameters.

Final deliverables should include:

- All source code.

- A written report explaining the design process and outcomes.

Mentorship

Our comprehensive training plan for the Robotics Systems Testing student is thoughtfully structured to provide a thorough and hands-on learning experience. During the onboarding phase, they will receive a comprehensive introduction to our company's mission, values, and the critical role they will play in ensuring the quality and performance of our robotic systems. We will provide them with detailed documentation that encompasses testing protocols, robotics technologies, and technical resources essential for understanding our systems. To foster their development, they will have the privilege of working closely with our experienced team members who will serve as mentors, offering guidance, insights, and practical expertise in robotics testing, quality assurance, and automation technologies. Furthermore, we recognize the value of external perspectives, and the intern will have a unique opportunity to connect with external professional mentors specializing in robotics and quality assurance. These mentors will provide additional insights and help broaden their knowledge, ensuring a well-rounded skillset in robotics testing, technological assessment, and industry best practices.
