Overview: Our team seeks interested junior systems analysts/administrators, to assist users with and perform maintenance on our IT systems. This support will including installation/set up, testing/configuration, deployment, maintenance and technical support of these systems and any related infrastructure such as computer systems and servers. Installation of hardware and software may also be required, as might participation in research and development of new systems or uses that would help further IT business needs of our organization. Via these and other technical and administrative responsibilities the candidate will help to ensure IT related needs and issues are resolved as quickly and efficiently as possible, limiting work disruption for users.

Projects/Deliverables: Specific deliverables will be outlined in more detail upon commencement of the role, but some overarching projects/tasks the candidate may be involved with includes the following.

• Serving as staff technical support, addressing open tickets, manage new ticket additions, changes etc.
• Assist in servers and application maintenance
• Maintenance of servers and applications
• Maintenance of IT/user asset inventory, ensuring accessing is tracked
• Creation of technical documentation on the architecture of IT systems
• Software implementation, deployment, customization management (including the tracking and coordination of activities as needed)

Working on and supporting those activities

• Migration of IT systems
• Assistance with the planning and implementation of new infrastructures or upgrades

Expertise required or desire to learn: Knowledge and experience with both Apple, Windows and Linux, Creative Cloud/Adobe products, PHP, WordPress, VOIP technologies, scripting languages (such as Python, Powershell, VB Scripting, C#) and various Microsoft applications and systems (including Dynamics 365, Azure, Active Directory) is ideal. Experience working with/troubleshooting MS SQL would be an asset as well.

We are seeking enthusiastic learners with advanced problem-solving skills and the capability to work well both independently and on a team. All communications will occur in English.
