empathy factor analysis report writing spss (statistical software) analysis of variance (anova) analysis of covariance data analysis management psychology researchThe project coordinator will train, direct, and assist a small team of research assistants on data analysis, interpretation, and knowledge mobilization activities (e.g., preparing reports) related to the research topic. This position will be supervised by Dr. Eric Legge, Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at MacEwan University.
The project may include, but is not limited to:
- Supporting research assistants (RAs) in the management, organization, cleaning of collected data.
- Planning and training RAs to perform data analysis (e.g., regression, factor analysis, ANOVA, ANCOVA) on a large dataset using SPSS/JASP.
- Assisting RAs in the interpretation and summarization of data analysis outputs.
- Liaising with statistical consultants and integrating their feedback into project workflows.
- Supervising and assisting RAs in their understanding of relevant literature. Support and review RA literature searches and synthesis to support project goals.
- Assist and supervise RAs development of a final report that highlights project outcomes and how they fit within the broader literature.
This project will require 80-hours of work over an 8-week period. Some of this work can be done remotely.
The project is expected to begin Nov. 08 (negotiable).
The student will work closely with the supervising primary project manager, Dr. Eric Legge, who is available for questions. This will also include occasional progress meetings where adjustments to the student's tasks and duties may be made if necessary.
