Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

Number of individual students required: (1 student)

We would like students to help us with publishing posts on social media to magnify our voices in line with our vision and mission. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization.

To accomplish this, we expect the student will:

  • Create social media posts based on promoting tasks
  • Assist with video taking and/or editing for social media and website use
  • Assist with user-generated event promotion campaigns
  • Identify media outlets that are most beneficial to share our story and create an analysis of the social media performance

Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for The Shoe Project, including video, social media, and other collateral that we can use as go-to marketing tools

If you would like to tackle this challenge with us, then we'd love to hear from you.

A student with excellent writing and video skills would be the ideal candidate for this project.

The Shoe Project is a registered charity supporting immigrant and refugee women in Canada. We provide writing and public speaking workshops to help newcomer women improve their language and leadership skills. We organize public performances for the workshop participants to present their immigration stories on stage. The stories inspire the audience and also nurture cross-cultural dialogues.
