Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

We are looking for a creative team who can design 1-2 minute information clips that cover a few STEM topics related to what our company does. You will work with the team at Indus Space, supervised by the CEO to create engaging and informative content. Teams will determine best way researched information (already ready) can be communicated in a video format intended for YouTUBE or other digital platforms. This project will require a team that is creative and has access to PowToon or similar software in order to create the videos.

We are looking for the

  • The creation of a fun and engaging animations about mindset and getting the most out of middle school
  • This video will be displayed for different purposes and shared with the general public through digital marketing.
What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

Review/research content about a specific topic (made available by the team)

Create a draft project within 50 hours of the project timeline.

Use remainder of the time to incorporate any team feedback and submit a 2 minute long digital file of the content and any documented notes relevant.

Final deliverable should include

  • A video script
  • A voice-over recording of the final video script
  • Background music
  • A visual storyboard
  • Completed video scenes
  • Icons for individual scenes
  • Editing and revisions
  • A completed animated video (.mov) with all of the elements above

The focus of Indus Space is to connect youth and educators in the topics of STEM through Space Science. Canada is an active participant in the global space community going back 50 years! Through several program styles, participants will use an hands-on approach to learn about Astronomy, Geology, Geography, Engineering, and related fields. Missions have been exploring our solar system and beyond for the last 50+ years, there's a lot of data, discoveries, careers, and technologies that have come from Space Science. Our goal is to introduce participants to ways space science plays an integral role in our lives in fun and engaging ways.
