LUCA Theory is looking to partner with a talented student[s] to contribute to our collective intelligence application development. We're looking for someone who is creative and tactful to be able to help us build features, manage accounts and develop profiles.

This role is for someone who is looking to get their foot in the door at an early-stage startup with the opportunity to grow.

LUCA is a collective intelligence startup based out of Montreal. We are committed to helping power decision-making in a variety of fields with our goal to overcome cognitive biases and be less wrong. We primarily work remotely and get together for key sessions when it dictates.

About the Role

We are continuing to evolve our application features, increase our impact in the collective intelligence market and improve our product offering. To expand our ability to generate novel insights and identify superforecasters within our platform, we are eager to partner with a student to assist with our app build.

To support our technology growth, LUCA is looking for a developer to contribute to the following:

* Contribute to the management and growth of the user base, including managing profiles with gamification mechanisms;

* Support marketing efforts to grow and maintain user base;

* Expand upon collective intelligence models, including neural net design and prediction visualizations.

* Facilitate payments and manage internal ecosystem economics;

* Contribute to UX/UI design and execution and support front end development.

* Expertise in a portion of LUCA's development languages and frameworks is a must:

* Knowledge of cryptocurrency, gaming, and chatbots is considered an asset.

About You

You are an undergrad, master's student, MBA, or otherwise passionate student looking for a new opportunity to add to your portfolio.

You have a strong knowledge of data analysis platforms, have an active portfolio and a keen analytical mind.

You have the ability to learn new platforms quickly and easily.

Learners will need to:

• Leverage project management tools to organize and execute overall project, including Asana and Github.
• Deliver design work and mock-ups of overall project work via Figma.
• Deploy on beta builds and test overall application features.
• Deploy builds to production, generate user feedback, and iterate on designs.
• Stress test all builds for scalability and security.
• Finalize documentation and overviews of all builds for future development needs.

A team of co-founders, employees, and consultants will support the student[s] in all projects and endeavors, including backgrounds in finance, math, law, science and sustainability.
