tourism researchHave you ever been bored sitting on the couch. Scroll for something to do. Everything is either too far away or isn’t of interest to you. Or maybe you don’t feel like introducing yourself today. It doesn’t need to be that way.
Meet the Odyssey is an app where the Amazing Race with a bit of Tinder and a hint of Pokemon Go.. changes how we connect. And redefines how we travel.
I’m Christina. I have over a decade AI; our team is AI driven but customer focused. Our CTO has over twenty years in software engineering building and leading tech teams. Our head of ops is a Vet that keeps the team on track and in line.
We will launch our beta app in Summer 2025. We have received some interest and are working to host a private alpha test. We would like to collaborate with students to improve our customer experience.
After some market research we are interested in promoting experiences in Dallas, Jackson Hole, Bangkok, Barcelona, Seoul, Tuscany, among a few others. However, we are facing challenges with telling impactful local stories and building heritage immersion experiences for visitors.
We would like to collaborate with students to tell unique community’s story in new ways and attract more tourists.
This will involve several different steps for the students, including:
- Conducting background research on the cities and its history.
- Identifying the customer personae of prospective visitors and their travel journeys.
- Identifying attractive experiences and interpretive narratives to build out itineraries.
- Recommending revisions to incorporate storytelling within our existing materials.
By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:
- Understanding of the cities and its history
- Identification of customer personae and travel journeys
- Identification of attractive experiences and narratives
- Recommendations for storytelling
Bonus steps would include:
- Applying storytelling to our materials
Final deliverables should include
- A 10-minute presentation.
- 200 tailored experiences for your assigned area(s)
