LumeSmart Earth Day Conference & Trade Show is a dynamic, volunteer-driven initiative that has brought together cleantech leaders, innovators, students, and global changemakers every April since 2015. Founded and led by a passionate woman entrepreneur, this annual event is more than just a conference — it's a platform for education, collaboration, and bold climate action.

This year, we proudly celebrated 10 years of impact at MaRS Discovery District in Toronto — featuring panels with industry leaders, global speakers, and a special pitch stage where youth and early-stage entrepreneurs practiced sharing their ideas in a real-world setting.

For a decade, we’ve championed diversity, clean technology, and community-driven sustainability. Our themes have covered everything from renewable energy and smart cities to AgTech, vertical farming, and youth-led innovation. We’ve partnered with government, academia, startups, and nonprofits to spark meaningful conversations and long-term change.

On Riipen, we welcome students who want to make a difference through hands-on projects in event planning, digital storytelling, speaker coordination, sponsorship outreach, research, content creation, and community engagement. If you’re creative, driven, and care about climate, innovation, or inclusive leadership — there’s a place for you here.
