Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

We are looking to gain a better understanding of how soft skills can transform work productivity, especially in technical sectors. As a consultancy, we offer TechLiteracy® programmes (for non-technical founders and managers) and are looking to expand also into a communication skills type offering for engineering teams. We'd love to better understand the existing literature and potential expected ROI, if any, so we ensure we are positioning ourselves in the right segment and are offering effective benefits. (for example, ROI on "T-shaped" hires)

To accomplish this, you could focus on providing:

  • An analysis of current literature on productive skills in the workplace and shortcomings in the technology sector
  • Conducting empirical interviews and/or questionnaires for feedback on our brand, product, service, etc.
  • Executing further market research to develop a comprehensive report of our target market.

Output is flexible based on what is best suited for your course/program!

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

The final deliverables should take the form of:

  • A final report summarising the discovered research (including references to source papers)
  • A 30-minute presentation via Zoom — it need not be very formal, please no presentation anxiety required! :)
