Overview: We are seeking a candidate or team to assist with the creation of a software tool that will serve as a matching engine as we sift through data. The data consists of lead targets––collected via research as well as discussions with target companies––and must be matched with criteria that indicate synergy between the company/individual and another company/individual. Think of it like a dating app, you have certain characteristics/attributes of a potential mate/connection and based on those characteristics/attributes we want to appreciate the “best fit” between you and another individuals/companies.

Project: The automated tool(s) must be able to sift through large quantities of data matching details (key characteristics) from a list of gathered contacts, including whether to identify them as a buyer, seller, merger or network candidate etc. At the moment we have data from approximately 600 companies to match, and more will be added on an ongoing basis. Additionally, attributes continue to be added and refined related to the data. Therefore, solution should be extendible.

Some examples of the matching criteria include:

• Individual Manager/Leader Characteristics
• Company or Organization Size (based on number of employees, partners, shareholders etc.)
• Company or Organization Revenue
• Services or Products offered by the Company or Organization (Quantity and Type)
• Locations (both geography and number of)
• Status (whether they are interested in buying, selling or any other type of business transaction)

Deliverables:

The tool should produce a report/dashboard with KPIs that outline not just matches made, but the number and quality of matches etc. It would be ideal if this report can be extracted as an excel document.

Expertise required: Knowledge and experience with software development, AI/machine learning tools and the capability to connect the tool with other business applications (Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI applications). We are seeking an enthusiastic learner with advanced problem-solving skills and the capability to work well both independently and on a team. All communications will occur in English.

Resources provided: Our team will provide access to all relevant data and systems that candidate requires to complete their project(s). There will also be dialogue/ongoing engagement with subject matter experts.
