Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

The overarching objective of this project is to make hospice palliative care research being done by experts accessible to all audiences with the goal of promoting the practical use of research knowledge. The specific objective is to identify recent hospice palliative care research articles that are relevant to the membership of HPCO and write lay summaries of the article for inclusion in our "member's e-newsletter" and publication on our website (https://www.hpco.ca/research/).


What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:


- An understanding of hospice palliative care research and its relevance to HPCO members.


- Identification of recent hospice palliative care research articles that are relevant to the membership of HPCO.


- Writing of lay summaries of the article for inclusion in our "member's e-newsletter" and publication on our website.



Final deliverables should include:


-A minimum of 6 lay summaries of research articles.
