What is the main goal for this project?

We are looking for a student to assist us in finding, interviewing and selecting new contractors for our property management company.


The goal is for the student to deliver a list of interviewed and prescreened contractors, along with their thoughts and analysis on each of the candidates.



What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

The scope of this project will entail:


  • Meeting with the Maintenance Manager to gain insight on the types of contractors needed and where to find them
  • Creating a spreadsheet of potential candidates
  • Contacting each candidate to ask them a series of supplied pre-screening questions
  • Conferring with the Maintenance Manager to determine which contractors should get a final interview
  • Supply analysis and recommendations to the Maintenance Manager to assist Upper Edge in choosing contractors that are responsible and provide high quality work
