The SSP Waiter iOS Extension project aims to enhance the existing SSP Waiter app by ensuring feature parity with its Android counterpart. This project provides students with the opportunity to apply their knowledge of React Native and iOS development. The primary goal is to configure the iOS project, troubleshoot any platform-specific bugs, and prepare a TestFlight-ready build. Students will gain hands-on experience in cross-platform app development, focusing on adapting Android features to iOS while maintaining app functionality and user experience. The project encourages problem-solving and critical thinking as students work through the intricacies of iOS development, including Xcode setup and certificate management.

Deliverables

The project deliverables include a fully functional iOS version of the SSP Waiter app, demonstrating feature parity with the Android version. Students will also provide a comprehensive list of resolved platform-specific issues encountered during development. Additionally, detailed iOS build documentation will be created, outlining the Xcode setup and certificate configuration process, ensuring future developers can easily replicate the build environment.
