Our team is looking for someone to join our IT team to provide service desk support for our internal staff. *Note: This is an unpaid project.

The new team member would work and learn from fellow IT Team members and become familiar with commonly used enterprise IT tools such as Active Directory, ticketing system, imaging tool, VPN and much more.

Students would take part in team meetings and have an opportunity to ask how certain technologies work, learn what are the best industry practices and understand some of the common challenges faced by IT support teams. Some technologies the student will be able to work with are, but not limited to:

  • Active Directory
  • Computer imaging tool
  • Windows, macOS, iOS and Android
  • Office 365 and Teams
  • Zoom
  • Ticketing system for user support
  • CMDB
  • Cisco AnyConnect
