What is the main goal for this project?

As a Market Validation Intern at ÁCARA CLIMATE, you will play a pivotal role in helping us validate our new climate tech product within the insurance industry. What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

1- Market Research:

  • Analyze industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory factors that impact the market.


2- Client Persona Development:

  • Research and compile detailed client personas for different customer segments within the identified industries.
  • Create profiles that include demographics, behaviors, pain points, and preferences to represent the target audience accurately.


3- Customer Segmentation:

  • Identify distinct customer segments within each industry, based on factors like industry focus, company size, geographic location, and specific climate-related challenges.


4- Customer Interviews:

  • Plan and conduct structured customer interviews with representatives from each customer segment.
  • Ask open-ended questions to gather insights into their needs, pain points, and preferences regarding climate tech solutions.


5- Competition Analysis:

  • Research and analyze competitors operating in the climate tech space.
  • Evaluate their product offerings, pricing strategies, strengths, weaknesses, and market positioning.


6- Interview Report:

  • Compile detailed interview reports for each customer segment, summarizing key findings, insights, and feedback obtained during the interviews.
  • Highlight common themes and trends across different segments.


7- Recommendations:

  • Based on the research, customer interviews, and competition analysis, provide actionable recommendations for ÁCARA CLIMATE to refine its climate tech product and market strategies.
