The main goal of this project is to create a plan including a list of activities for a week of outdoor diabetes sports camps. This plan should include activities that are engaging, inspiring, and empowering for the type 1 diabetes community. The plan should also be tailored to the individual starting points of the participants, and should be designed to help them build the skills and courage to face any obstacles that come their way.

The tasks that learners will need to complete to achieve the project goal include:

- Researching and creating a list of activities that are engaging, inspiring, and empowering for the type 1 diabetes community.

- Developing a plan for the week of outdoor diabetes sports camps that includes the activities identified.

- Creating a schedule for the week of outdoor diabetes sports camps that includes the activities identified.

- Developing a budget for the week of outdoor diabetes sports camps.

Final deliverables should include:

Supervision and Mentoring Plan

The student will receive training and ongoing support by Operations Manager and Project Manager. They will be guided through the organization's strategic plan and how it aligns with the project strategies. They will be part of a collaborative, innovative and team-oriented environment. They will have the opportunity to attend weekly meetings with the larger team at ICD in addition to smaller meetings with those involved in the web development project.

They will be gaining hands on experience creating relevant content, implementing and executing objectives. Students will always be provided with an opportunity to ask questions and have them addressed along with weekly check-ins with the ICD Team. This is an excellent opportunity for students to assimilate a multitude of skills and develop professionally. Students gain applicable knowledge and experience in real life context.
