Details

Ulikorn is a simple and efficient reverse recruitment platform, focused on the expectations of future employees.

Our company offers companies and candidates to find the right match based on three categories of criteria: Essential, Desirable and Optional.

Two user paths:

1. Candidate

2. Company

Think about the matches provided by dating applications. We want to include an inclusive and unbiased algorithm.

We would like a group of students to design and build a prototype for a web and mobile application version of our services.

This will involve:

  • Conduct background research of existing web application for the product.
  • Identify key areas of our current product and how they might translate to a mobile application.
  • Learn and use various software design tools. We strongly recommend students learn how to use Figma as it is the latest and greatest tool currently available.
  • Creation of a screen by screen UX / UI prototype of a native mobile application which can be used on both iOS and Android.
Deliverables

By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of activities:

  • Students become familiar with our product and generally understand how it works.
  • Students should spend time researching the state of the art in machine learning and matching engine technologies.
  • Familiarize themselves with our existing product. And with a design tool of their choosing and understand how it work. We strongly recommend Figma.
  • Design and build inside of the design tool all the needed screens for a mobile application prototype of our product.
  • Present the final design screens to us with the context of all their choices they made, problems they encountered, and next steps they recommend.

Bonus steps would include:

  • Conducting UX / UI testing with real potential users potentially involving paper prototypes or other software tools to support this.

Final deliverables should include:

  • The design screens and all assets in a shareable format
  • A presentation as stated above of the final designs
Mentorship

Students will be in direct contact with us for mentoring throughout the project.

We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

  • Understanding current products
  • Industry standard design tools and applications
  • Any type of branding or styling advice
  • Suggestions on choices, problems or any other issues that students may encounter.
