What is the main goal for this project?

We want students to help us to develop an innovation ecosystem matrix/map to grow and engage our target market: Stakeholders (Startups, Angel Investor Groups, Innovation Centres) and the news/social mediums they interact with in the specific global locations we are targeting. We’d like to know how we can maximize the use of different channels in order to drive quality startups into our funnel.

The main tasks we’d like students to help us with are the following:

  • Compile a segmented list of Stakeholders (as detailed above) with all relevant data (focus, stage, portfolio, etc.)
  • Compile a segmented list of news feeds and social media platforms that our targeted stakeholders are active on
  • Collaborate on potential messaging for each stakeholder group including the appropriate channel(s)
  • Identify meaningful and attractive content that would support Kanata’s brand and provide real value to our audience
  • Collaborate on a content calendar
