Brian Young is the CEO and Founder of Home Painters Toronto, a leading painting contractor in the Greater Toronto Area since 1991.

Brian’s business career started as a Student Painter back in 1987 while attending York University. For the next decade, Brian made a career out of actively cold calling clients at their homes and using various ‘old school’ marketing tactics, which kept his business thriving. But with the gradual change to internet marketing, by 1997 his sales started to plummet, and his once thriving business, began to really struggle.

In Sept of 2011, Brian finally hit rock bottom after receiving the ultimate wakeup call – being literally, punched in the face by an irate prospective client for cold calling his house. At this point, change was inevitable paving the way for a new chapter for Brian and his struggling painting business.

In January 2012, Brian hired a business coach, created a website, assembled a SEO team, bought Infusionsoft, and very quickly his business began to soar. In the next 7 years, his revenues skyrocketed by over 800%, all while cutting his workweek down by 40%.

Brian is now in hot demand for his views on entrepreneurship and business. He’s been recently featured in many publications including Entrepreneur.com, allBusiness.com, Small Biz Trends, CRM Magazine, Business.com, The Globe and Mail, and various video and podcast interviews.
