entrepreneurshipFor this project, We are looking for students to create an entrepreneurial path for on and off-reserve Indigenous entrepreneurs based on our existing data and experience.
The path will be a map that indicates steps each entrepreneur have to take to create and grow their business, including a dynamic page of funding and grants available to Indigenous peoples.
We have a team of academic and Indigenous community members that mentor each project on as needed basis.
About the company
Envisionate, a majority Indigenous-owned organization, provides end-to-end research and education packages to communities, entrepreneurs, and for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. Envisionate formed in May 2020 after two decades of work and partnership between its founding members. Each partner has a deep connection with community and has developed various initiatives in areas such as community development, food security and sovereignty, land-based training, restorative justice, reconciliation and healing. We work with community members as they are shaping their ideas, managing projects and dealing with conflicts that emerge along their projects’ life cycle.
