Project scope
- What is the main goal for this project?
-
We need to develop an ESG policy for our company and would like to have a group of students research and design the policy layout based on ESG "best practices" within our industry. This project would be a group project that would include potentially having one student for each component of the policy (Environment, Social, & Governance) and another student to design the framework and layout of the policy itself.
Students should expect to complete the following scope:
- Identify similar policies that have been implemented within our industry.
- Research and Identify 'best practices' for all aspects of the Policy (Environment, Social & Governance) as they pertain to our industry.
- Create a materiality assessment that focuses on the key ESG issues and opportunities most likely to affect our business performance and stakeholders.
- Analyze gaps in existing state of business and objectives/goals.
- Develop a strategic ESG roadmap and framework
- Create documented policy with best practices and processes.
