Students at Accelerate Her Future will be provided with an opportunity to assist with phase 2 of our website design. This engagement will give the intern an opportunity to work with a dynamic team within a collaborative environment.

We are a young startup and as a career accelerator for Indigenous, Black and racialized women we care deeply about mentorship. We will help our students succeed as much as we want them to help us enhance our visual identity. We are looking for a student who has creative vision, tenacity, drive, and sees possibilities in all things and who thrives at working independently and within a team environment. This project involves:

• Graphically design 2 toolkit downloadables for website
• Assist in finalizing Branding Guidelines
• Assist with Mailchimp tagging strategy and website form enhancement
• Set up automated welcome emails for newsletter an waitlist sign ups
• Assist with drip campaign strategy
• Assist with Shopify ecommerce SEO optimization and launch
• Assist with website SEO optimization

Bonus deliverable

• Recommending enhancements for our website and shopify page set up

Who are we looking for? Ideally you have lived experience and ‘insider knowledge’ of the communities we serve at the core of our mission. You are inspired by our mission and like working within a collaborative environment. You value patience, respect, generosity, and good humour in your working relationships. Having an emerging understanding of intersectionality and gender and racial equity principles will be an asset.

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

• Finalized and set up downloadable resources on website
• Created welcome emails
• Finalized Branding Guidelines
• Tagging strategy recommendation and drip campaign strategy
• Assist with launching phase 2 of website implementation which includes Shopify and SEO Strategy

Final deliverables should include

• A presentation on tagging strategy and drip campaign.
• Phase 2 and Shopify page launch with SEO strategy incorporated

Students will be working directly with AHF's Operations & UX Lead and are required to sign a Non Disclosure Agreement. They will participate in weekly 30-minute project mentorship calls where all questions will be answered.
