Job description: This student staff member will support the UBC Arts Co-op graduate student coordinators in:

- developing written and visual content to share with current and potential co-op students,

- collecting and organizing resources to support co-op students in the application process, and

- marketing the three graduate programs and their supports.

This work will involve:

- interviewing employers, alumni, senior students, and/or staff members via Zoom

- developing either written or audio-visual content

- researching, gathering, organizing materials.

We especially welcome applications from students who belong to equity-deserving groups, including students of colour, students with (dis)abilities, and LGBTQ+ students.

Project E: developing short videos for recruitment

Notes:

1) To be eligible to apply, you must reside in Canada for the duration of the work term. Be prepared to work during Vancouver (PST) time.

2) The duration of this position is two semesters, but it will only count as 1 Co-op work term.

3) This position is funded by Riipen Level Up.

To be eligible, students must:

be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment;

Job offer subject to confirmation of Riipen funding.

Supervision by Letitia Henville, who will meet with the student weekly or biweekly and can provide career development mentorship
