The Brdge is a pioneering online marketplace dedicated to bringing ready-to-eat home-cooked food to consumers. Our platform serves as a bridge connecting food enthusiasts with a diverse range of food vendors, ranging from startup food entrepreneurs to well-established restaurants, all while providing local food delivery services.


This project will involve several different steps for the students, including:

  • Familiarizing themselves with our company’s products and services, social media campaign goals and target market.
  • Identifying social media channels and strategies suitable for appealing to high schools' students, university students and young adults
  • Planning types of campaign content to create for each channel.
  • Identifying metrics to monitor throughout the campaign.
  • Creating a social media content calendar that outlines important steps in the campaign.

Bonus steps in the process would also include:

  • Creating a campaign or event that our company can cater for and provide students with an array of options (Nigerian, jamaican, filipino, lebanese, and much more!) We want to be a known hub on campus for home-cooked meals.
Deliverables

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

  • Understanding of our company’s products and goals
  • Identification of suitable social media channels and strategies
  • Identification of types of campaign content to create
  • Identification of metrics to monitor the campaign’s success
  • Creation of a social media content to attract student body demographic

Bonus steps would include:

  • Creating a campaign or event that our company can cater for and provide students with an array of options (Nigerian, Jamaican, Filipino, Lebanese, and much more!) We want to be a known hub on campus for home-cooked meals.


Final deliverables should include

  • A final report with a creation of a marketing campaign to bring home-cooked meals to campus
  • A detailed timeline of the campaign scope and what materials will be needed from THE BRDGE to make it a success
  • A 10-minute presentation.
Mentorship

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

  • Our current products and social media marketing
  • Our customer and industry insights
  • Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.
