Details

Develop a product requirements document describing how the feedback and achievements that users receive on Riipen could more easily be shared to other platforms, primarily LinkedIn.

Currently, all users receive feedback from other users at the conclusion of a project. They also receive gamification awards called "achievements" at different points in the user journey.

We would like to promote the opportunity to share achievements and feedback, and provide easy tools for users to do so.

The only current offering is for learners; from received feedback they can access a "share" icon to share a piece of feedback to their LinkedIn profile as a "certification."

The goal is to get more users leveraging the recognition they receive on Riipen in other contexts, and to make them aware of the benefits of doing so.

Deliverables
  1. Platform research: currently only LinkedIn is being promoted, should we use other platforms? With LinkedIn, we use "certifications" as that is one of the options they allow you to post to via a link. Would we be better off using LinkedIn "posts" or are there other options?
  2. UX exploration: is it obvious to users that this is an option? How can it become more obvious?
3. UI recommendations: where to add sharing options in-platform, and display of these options.
  4. Content recommendations: how to promote this option to users via in-app copy and email notification copy.
Mentorship

We can provide a detailed briefing on internal stakeholder feedback on the need for this feature, both in writing and with interviews as needed with product and customer success teams.

We can provide a sandbox environment for the team to understand the current experience.

We prefer not to provide direct access to customers at this time, but can incorporate questions the team has into our own interviews with customers if needed.

The team will have direct access to our Associate Product Manager as the primary contact for this project, and to our Director of Product and Senior PM for timely responses to questions and regular meetings.
