What is the main goal for this project?

We are seeking dynamic and motivated individuals to join our team as an Experiential Learning Project Coordinators. This role is pivotal in enhancing the educational experience on campus by facilitating and coordinating experiential learning opportunities for students. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in fostering connections between academic knowledge and real-world applications, ensuring students gain practical skills and insights.

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

1. Project Development and Management:

·      Collaborate with faculty, industry partners, and other stakeholders to develop and implement experiential learning projects on campus.

·      Design project plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.

·      Oversee the day-to-day management of projects, including resource allocation, progress tracking, and problem resolution.


2. Student Engagement:

·      Act as a liaison between students and project stakeholders, fostering strong communication and collaboration.

·      Promote experiential learning opportunities to students, encouraging participation and highlighting the benefits of real-world application of academic concepts.

·      Provide guidance and support to students throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring a positive and enriching learning experience.


3. Partnership Building:

·      Cultivate and maintain relationships with industry partners, community organizations, and other potential collaborators.

·      Identify new opportunities for partnerships that align with academic goals and student learning objectives.

·      Negotiate and establish Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with external organizations when necessary.


4. Assessment and Evaluation:

·      Develop and implement assessment tools to measure the impact and effectiveness of experiential learning projects.

·      Collect and analyze data on student outcomes, project success, and overall program effectiveness.

·      Use assessment results to continuously improve and refine the experiential learning program.


5. Training and Development:

·      Provide training sessions for faculty, staff, and students involved in experiential learning projects.

·      Foster a culture of continuous learning by staying informed about best practices in experiential education and incorporating new methodologies into program design.
