Details

I have a position available for 1 student for 80 hours to learn how to collect and statistically analyze data from participants who will complete an attention task before, during, and after 20 minutes of transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS). These data will help us better understand how different parts of the brain control attention. The student will gain research experience using non-invasive brain stimulation and develop their data analysis skills.

Deliverables

- Learn how to use tDCS

- Learn how to administer the attention task using data collection software

- complete 60 hours of in-person data collection at MacEwan University

- complete 20 hours of data analysis and statistics (student can perform this work remotely)

Mentorship

I will provide all of the necessary training, equipment, and computer hardware and software resources necessary to complete the project. I will also be directly involved in training the student as well as assisting with data analysis. I will meet with the student at least once per week to monitor progress and provide assistance and feedback as needed.
